1st Day of School!

Zachary's first day of kindergarten!

My boys crack me up. It's rare that you get a serious picture of Scott, it takes at least 3-4 prior pictures before you can catch a good smile (reminds me of my brother, Nate, although I think his mission & marriage has helped out).

Can you believe how grown up he is?

Here's Zach waiting in line to enter into his classroom. His teacher, Mrs. Rogers, is right above him. (We like to ask Zach if she's related to the Mr. Rogers) "It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood a beautiful day for a neighbor, would you be mine, could you be mine, won't you be my neighbor...sorry I got a little side tracked."

Had to add a few more cute photos!

Our visit to Elko

We celebrated Scott's 3rd birthday in Elko with all his cousins a couple weeks ago. His birthday is actually on the 18th but we partied early with all the cuz's.

For two weeks we enjoyed the luxuries of having Grandma around. The boys rode their bikes on the dirt roads, caught grasshoppers in mason jars, dug mud holes under the deck, and we can't forget jumping on the trampoline with the sprinkler.

Zach lost his second tooth while there. He's growing up so fast.

While there Cheyenne received her first pedicure!

You gotta love the pink toes!

We're Moving!

Well it's actually going to happen. We're moving to Utah in October! While visiting up there earlier this month, Ethan decided to look for some rentals to see what was available. He found an older house that looked vacant, went up to the windows to peek in and realized that someone lived there. He rang the doorbell and was able to look inside. It's a small 4 bedroom house located in Washington Terrace, which is just south of South Ogden. I guess the yard isn't much to look at right now, but we'll fix that. A little water and some tender loving care will have us a great lawn in no time(especially in Utah). The back is all fenced in and from what I can tell on google earth, the trees are large and mature, yippee! I can't wait to see it and add our own special touch to this little old house. I'm excited to not worry about Ethan traveling up there anymore too, even though it was on average only twice a month for 2 days at a time. Call me a wimp, but I love to have him home. I can't wait to get up there and be closer to family too. Ethan's parents will be about 20 minutes away as well as my older brother, Nick, and his soon to be wife, Erica. The school Zach will go to is only a block or two away, walking distance which will be fun. Oh, all the new changes. We're so excited and sad at the same time. We have really loved Las Vegas and the many friends. So Welcome to our new blog and hopefully we can keep in touch. We'll try to update more once we get up there and moved in.

Here's a family picture from our family reunion in Boise the end of July.
