December Activities!

Christmas Morning and Then Some.

So the morning started with Ethan in and out of bed, so excited, he could not sleep. After not being able to stand it anymore, he finally decided to just wake them up. After all it was 8:00 and they were still sleeping. (I would've been ok sleeping a little longer though:) As soon as he reminded them that Santa had came and that it was Christmas, they were up and out very quickly.

The boys got some fun things to play together with as well as new (new to them anyway) ski stuff for the mountain this year. They both got season passes for $10, so they are excited to be up there more this year.

Cheyenne loved her new baby and stroller. If life would just stay this simple for her, wouldn't it be wonderful! She pushes it around all day.

Ethan was excited to get a new toy too. The kids were just as excited to get it for him. It needs a big area to run so once summer comes around it will be a lot more fun. For now we'll just have to go to the church gym. (And yes, his head is shaved, not intentionally at first. He doesn't care for it much, but I think it's fun to have something different. It'll grow back within a couple weeks right!)

I got a kitchenaid mixer, an ipod, and some other fun things, as well as cash, which, you can't beat that! I'm excited to use my mixer. It doesn't fit on my counter under my cupboards though, which is a bummer. So I'll have to heave it out to use it, but this house isn't forever, so hopefully the next one will have more counter space.

That night we got about 8 inches of new snow. This is the morning after. Ethan's up early plowing the driveway and sidewalks. Later that day he took the boys out to Grandma and Grandpa's to sled behind the 4-wheeler in the fields with their cousins. I'll put a slideshow together for that, they had a blast. I chose to stay home and relax in where it's warm with Cheyenne. I am dying to get out there now after seeing their pictures. They really had a great time. So that was our day! It was a really nice holiday.
Christmas Eve was spent at the In-laws. As always it was a great time with great food. Grandma Wilson's potatoe salad was the best I've had. Christmas day we had dinner at my brother's house. It was fabulous food as well. I think having my appetite finally come back this week helped too. All the food was soooo goood!

Merry Christmas!

So this year Christmas cards are not going to be sent out, so here's the next best thing right!
We hope you all are having a wonderful holiday season. Now, almost completely recovered from morning sickness, colds, and more recently a stomach bug, we are hoping to have a wonderful Christmas. I can't thank my wonderful husband enough for his help over the past month. Being laid off has it's perks, for me anyway:) He has been wonderful to help out with the kids, do almost all the Christmas shopping, per my list, and pamper and care for me through my sick days. Thank you Ethan, I love you so much. We are all in better spirits now and ready for the holidays. The snow has been wonderful and Ethan is taking advantage of his days off, boarding on the slopes. He was smart to buy his season pass back in September. The kids are all well and life is good. We are grateful for this time of year to remember our Savior's birth. What a blessing the gospel is in our lives. We wish you all the best and a wonderful New Year!!

A New One On Its Way!

Well, the words out! We are expecting #4! Due July 11th, if it's up to me it will be the end of June though:) It happened a little sooner than we were going to plan for, but we're thrilled. As long as I can still make it to Girls camp in Mid June, we're good. Anyway, that's what's going on around here! Hope you all are well!
