Moving to Elko

Well it's official! We will be moving to Elko. After job searching here for the last few months and having no luck, we decided to look in Elko. We thought at first Ethan could get on at the gold mines, but then he got another offer to work for my cousin. This is the same company he worked for before when we traveled around doing directional drilling, pre-kids. Now they have taken on digital IT installation work, so Ethan will be starting that mid April. We are sad to be leaving. We have made some good friends here and have really enjoyed living near Ethan's family. Moving kids and packing a house is never much fun either. Although on the other hand, we are moving closer to my family which will be fun, and also an adjustment. I think we will be fine though. I am excited to have all my cousins nearby again, and now they all have spouses and kids my kids' age so that makes it even better. My mom has always been one of my best friends and she LOVES her grandkids so I'm sure she'll be ok with us a lot closer too. It isn't quite as pretty as Utah, and it gets a tad colder and more windy, but I'm trying to focus on the good things. We are so grateful for the family support and love while we have gone through these frustrating times of unemployment and will be glad that it will soon be over. I want to thank my wonderful husband too. It has been a disappointing, frustrating time to go through and I think he fared it pretty well. I HATE looking for jobs and filling out applications, and Ethan's done plenty in the last few months, so thanks honey. We are sad to leave, happy to be moving on, and look forward to the new things that will come our way. The kids are excited to be near more cousins too so I think they'll be fine....Now on to packing up the house!! Yeah, not:o

Little Girl Hairstyles...fun, fun, fun.

So I have spent much of my day today on the computer. I would say wasted, but I found some cool new things. I got on to find some new ways to style Cheyenne's hair. Her bangs are getting into her face and it definitely needs pulled back everyday now. I didn't think it would take me long, but I found some cool blogs that I just couldn't get away from. The two main ones that I liked are http://shedoeshair.blogspot.com/ and the other one is http://cutegirlshairstyles.blogspot.com/. They have great tips and ideas on new ways to experiment with your little girls' hair. I now can't wait until Chey's hair is a bit longer so I can try some fun new things. Some are kind of crazy, but it was still fun to look around. I even tried one today on Chey. I gave her the squirt bottle like one had suggested and she sat there wonderfully for me to play around. Here's the best shot that I got of it.

Cute huh? With her hair being so short and fine in the front, this was just the solution I needed. So for those of you with little girls, check it out, you might get a new idea or two!

How We Spend Our Friday Nights!

So this past Friday night, we planned on watching our nephews and some friends' kids. But then I got a phone call from both parties, cancelling the need for a sitter. So now what, what are we to do with a Friday night? Well here's what we ended up doing. Ethan and the boys built cool cars with Lego's while I cleaned the kitchen. We had some music playing and came across a station that we couldn't help but dance to. Here they are in action, enjoy!

So there it is, I was enjoying it quite a bit! I thought it was even better when Ethan joined in. He's still got the moves. Fun on a Friday night when there's nothing to do.

Random Updates.

So I thought to get into the Spring spirit, I would put up this picture of the tulips I received for Valentines Day. Aren't they beautiful! I cannot wait until Spring, today it is sunny and rather warm, so that sparks the excitement to plant another garden too. Soon, very soon;)
Here's my first profile picture for this pregnancy. 20 weeks. Everything has been going great so far, especially since the first trimester's been over. We can't wait for our little girl!!
